This website is dedicated to an upcoming conference on writers’ and intellectuals’ contributions to debates around British relations to Europe between 1918 and the present. The conference will be held in Newcastle upon Tyne on 1 and 2 November 2018 with generous support from UACES: The academic association for contemporary European studies, from Northumbria University and from Northumbria’s Institute of Humanities.
